An Interview with Louise Nicolaou.
Who are you?

I am an experienced trainer and coach. I will be presenting some of The Directors' Centre seminars in the Autumn.
What do you do?
I help businesses make more money!
I have a strong belief that every individual has the potential to be great and all too often these potentials are unrealised due to something as simple as the wrong training.
Training needs to be informative, interactive, fun and engaging and an organisation's success often relies on their individual people’s success. It is those organisations that understand this principle that will work with me to develop their people.
And... the teams that receive this type of training are prone to becoming high-performing teams who ultimately become empowered within their business.
Individuals that I work with achieve their own goals, anything from confidence-building to making big business decisions; they are guided and supported into becoming motivated to make the necessary changes within their businesses.
And your style?
Naturally a highly energetic person who is passionate about her work; my delivery style in teams is often referred to as infectious!
What have you done?
- Supported organisations across diverse sectors and size. From international corporate associations to small businesses, from directors and executives to managers, their supervisors and their teams.
- Worked with a London Regeneration Project to build better relationships between the different cultures within the teenager community.
- Supported my chosen charity by conquering my childhood fear of heights and abseiled down a high-rise building!
- Helped hundreds of people to find their inner confidence and make steps in the right direction to get what they want from their careers.
Why should I care?
The fact you are reading this tells me you already care. You want the best for yourself, your people or your business - you might even want the best for all three. Whatever your reasons, you are making the first step in the right direction.
What can you do for me that I can’t do for myself?
Heard the expression “Can’t see the wood for the trees.”? I can help you to see things in a different way. Take you down paths you haven’t yet explored and guide you to potential solutions that will open up all kinds of opportunities for you. These are things you can do… you just don’t know it yet!
What mistakes would you stop me making?
Any coach worth their salt will tell you that we all learn by experiencing our own mistakes, reviewing and amending our behaviour. I will always be honest in my views, support alternative solutions and advise of any potential problems that I see. This is part of building our business relationship.
How else would you save me money (make me money)?
All businesses need to make and save money, and each is as individual as the people who work in them. What is your need? Just ask me and we can work towards achieving those goals.
Give me an example of a business you worked with recently:
A large accountancy firm acquired another company and its entire staff in order to provide its client base with a wider selection of products and services. Staff from both sides of the business struggled to understand each other's part of the business, and the directors were unable to communicate a consistent message. They were losing clients at an unacceptable rate.
First, I worked with the directors, helping them to determine their brand, their mission statements and their business goals. Once this was in place and consistent messages were being relayed, I looked at building the understanding and ultimately the relationships between the staff. This is an ongoing project but already we have seen an increase in business, staff morale and client satisfaction.
The Managing Director of the firm said of the results so far, “Inspiring and interactive, full of thought provoking ideas, this programme impacted positively with everyone who attended. The results are speaking for themselves.”
